The Masters Programme In Reading

These are my thoughts on the programme.
The idea of having the programme done at the masters level is highly applauded by the organisers of such but I personally think that enough is not done to prepare us for what we are to encounter at the end of this programme when we are placed in those schools.
Let us take a look at the core of the programme:Reading In The Content Area. This course should have been done for one year at least two semesters but definitely not one semester we need more practice and workshops in this area.
In the ICT aspect one session for one web 2.0 tool is inadequate . I am yet to understand the blog properly . I always have to be playing around with it until I get it. (Mind you this is not practice this is definitely not knowing what to do and fishing , sometime the net is full and sometimes it is empty).
This area is one that I do share the most interest in because I have to interact with the natives of technology apart from it being exciting for me . I am even thinking of pursuing a complete computer course to be ready for these students. I do not want to look like a fool before them.
So, my take on this is that more time should be given to these courses so more practice can be done. I want to be ready without blotches.
